I am delighted and humbled to have been elected onto the Representative Committee of APSCo and excited to be able to bring my wealth of recruitment knowledge and vast experience of supporting and coaching recruitment leaders grow and expand their businesses across the UK, Europe, America, and Australia.

APSCo UK has recently announced my election to its Representative Committee, a decision that has been met with enthusiasm and high expectations within the professional recruitment industry. With nearly 40 years of experience, I have held senior positions, including Board Director roles, with APSCo members such as Computer People, QA-Myriad, and Hays PLC, particularly within IT, Telecoms, and Corporate Sales sectors.

Over the last 14 years, I have transitioned into roles that have further solidified my influence in the industry. As a Growth Coach, L&D Trainer, and Non-Executive Director, I have supported professional recruitment businesses across the UK, Europe, Australia, and the US. My extensive work with 60-80 recruitment business leaders annually speaks volumes about my dedication and impact on the industry.

In a significant accolade, Onalytica recently named me among the Top 10 Global Influencers on Future-of-Work and Talent-Recruitment. This recognition highlights my expertise and the respect I command on the global stage. I am also a regular speaker at conferences, addressing the future technology impacts on the employment sector—an area of keen interest as the industry navigates through disruptive times.

My commitment to the recruitment industry is not just professional but deeply personal. Passionate about advancing and shaping the industry to meet societal and technological challenges, I am dedicated to raising the ethical standards that bind our sector. This blend of professional acumen and ethical commitment positions me as an ideal addition to APSCo’s Representative Committee.

I wish to use my tenure on the APSCo Representative Committee to help shape our industry to embrace the societal and technological challenges that artificial intelligence creates whilst raising the ethical standards which bind us.

Reflecting on my election, I expressed my feelings on LinkedIn, stating, “I feel truly humbled to have been elected to the APSCo Representative Committee. Thank you to everyone who supported me.” These words resonate with many in the industry, highlighting the trust and confidence my peers have in my leadership.

Outside my professional life, I am an avid gardener, golfer, and community member in Cheshire, where I live with my family. This balance of professional dedication and personal fulfillment further enriches my perspective and approach to my new role.

The LinkedIn community has also responded positively to this announcement. Comments highlight my inspirational journey and significant contributions to the industry.
